GOVERNORS elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), have said their mission to Daura, Katsina State, was merely to condole President Muhammadu Buhari over the loss of two members of his extended family.

The Chairman of the APC Governors’ Forum, Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, stated this while asnwering questions from newsmen after a closed-door meeting with President Buhari at his private residence in Daura, on Friday.

He dismissed media reports that their mission to Daura was aimed at convincing the president to seek re-election in the presidential election in 2019, adding that the governors also used the opportunity to commend the president for appointing Senator Bola Tinubu as the head of the APC reconciliation committee.

“We are yet to discuss 2019 elections. That would be in the next meeting where we will discuss whether we want to support him to run or not. “But for now we came on the issue of the death of his two relatives and to commend him for action taken on Tinubu as a conciliator,” he said.

Also speaking on the outcome of the meeting, Governor Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State, said they were in Daura to sympathise with the president over the involvement of his son, Yusuf, in a ghastly auto-accident and the death of his two relatives.

He described the appointment of Tinubu as the APC chief mediator as a wonderful initiative by the president, adding,

“After the condolences, we had some very intimate discussion that further bound our relationships and affinity together and I believe this is a continuation of our closed association and support, loyalty and commitment to Mr President’s cause and Nigeria’s cause,” he said.

Nationwide Shock As 25 Retired Army Generals Throw Their Weight Behind, Threatened Fire And Vows To Remove Buhari Comes 2019

 

The 2019 political battle between President Muhammadu Buhari and his former boss, ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, may have taken an international dimension, as the former President is set to take the battle to the United States of America, US.

Sources close to the former President told New Telegraph that Obasanjo has commenced high-level talks with some institutions in the United States, partnering with the Jimmy Carter Foundation and other lobby groups to checkmate the return of Buhari.

The groups, according to sources, are to be used in mounting pressure on international donors to prevail on Buhari not to seek a second term in office.

“Baba will be in South Africa, from there he will move to the US. It is not certain, but definitely he is taking the campaign against Buhari outside the shores of Nigeria”, the source said.

However, it was gathered that in the midst of the international politicking, about 25 Retired Generals have thrown their weight behind Obasanjo, in his quest to upstage Buhari and the All Progressives Congress, APC, administration, as well as enthrone another government in 2019.

Though Buhari is yet to make public his intention to run for second term, Obasanjo had warned the President against nursing such ambition.

Sources within Obasanjo’s camp revealed that apart from the former Governor of Osun State, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, there are other prominent Retired Generals backing the former President.

“Do you think Baba works alone, he does not just come out to talk, they must have agreed among themselves. I need not mention those with him, but these are big horns that had been in power before.

“They know how to rally the people. They are not just coming together to lead us; they have their followers in the Military and across the country. But how they want to resolve among themselves is what we do not know, but I doubt if Buhari will say no to his former bosses”, one of the sources said.

Another source however, revealed that the group had scheduled a meeting today in the South-West, noting that no fewer than 10 of the Retired Generals would attend the parley, meant to take a decision on the likely replacement for Buhari.

Though Obasanjo will not be part of the South-West meeting, because of an engagement in South Africa, he is said to be aware of the Generals’ parley.

“Baba is not part of the meeting, he is scheduled to be in South Africa, but it is possible that he is aware. I am not even sure of where they want to hold their meeting”, he said

Then Mary stayed with her for about three months. And she returned to her own house.

The Annunciation

 In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was        sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin engaged to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. And he came to her and said, “Greetings, favored one! We are grateful to For sending the Redeemer and grateful to Mary for her "Yes".

 Mary is the woman of faith and the servant of the Lord.

In fulfillment of the promise he made when he said "Lo, I am with you till the end of time", our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has left for the Church avenues in which each believer meets him to experience the same healings, blessings and assistance He himself has performed over 2017 years ago.

              WHAT THEN ARE THESE SACRAMENTS?

The Church teaches that Sacraments are external signs perceptible to the eyes, but which conveys message to the onlookers that something spiritually is happening in the life of the recipient at the time the action is taking place.
Simply put, Sacraments could be said to be "Outward signs of inward graces made by the Lord Jesus Christ himself.

The word "Sacrament" which means "secret or mystery" (Wisdom 2:22; Ephesians 1:9), is God's own way of dealing with the people created in His own image and according to His own likeness (Gen. 1:26)
They are therefore seven meeting points with Jesus where he blesses each believer and gives him  the corresponding grace that enables him live a Godly life.
The Catechism of The Catholic Church (CCC) teacher that; Sacraments are powers that comes forth from the body of Jesus Christ. (Luke 5:1-7; 6:19; 8:46), which is everlasting and life-giving.
